Ms. Htut holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture with a minor in City and Regional Planning from UC Berkeley, and has over twelve years of experience in architecture, planning and construction. She has experience with various projects ranging from single-family and multifamily residences to institutional facilities and high-rise commercial buildings.
Ms. Htut was involved in variety of building envelope remediation projects with different construction assemblies, including built-up roofing systems, concrete tile roofing systems, cement plaster and fiber cement siding systems, concrete and masonry restoration, plaza waterproofing, below-grade waterproofing systems, and window assemblies.
Ms. Htut’s background in design and construction comprises of peer review of waterproofing assemblies, defect investigations and reporting, existing construction condition assessment, remediation design development, cost estimating, material research, specification writing, construction drawing development, bid solicitation preparation, bid evaluation and construction contract administration. She is proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Construction Document production, and is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
